About this team: 

 

The Retail Operations team delivers the best in class operational support to NA Retail Stores. This team acts as the liaison between the SSC (Store Support Centre) and stores to deliver key organizational priorities, programs and objectives. 

 

A Day in the life:

 

  • Strategically plans, advises and executes the NA Retail Calendar and Priorities in collaboration with the Global Priorities; this impacts 14000+ retail employees on a daily basis.
  • Advises departments on their communication strategy to ensure that their work streams and priorities execute powerfully in stores and for our guest. 
  • Innovates around content creation and delivery to ensure the lululemon culture shows up to a diverse group of employees.
  • Influences retail behaviour and how employees receive information.
  • Works cross-functionally with Global/Internal Communications to ensure all corporate communications are planned 
  • Leads and develops a team of 4+ people across multiple workstreams. 
  •  Leads the strategy and execution of NA Retail communications to 14,000+ employees
  • Closely collaborates with senior leaders and internal stakeholders across the organization
  • Responsible for the annual initiative planning process for strategic business initiatives that impact our NA retail teams
  • Accountable for managing the total volume of communications, while using data to analyze against budgets and to objectively evaluate success
  • Responsible for ongoing innovation in retail communications.
  • Supports and advises Internal Communications team - including writing Sr. leader scripts for Town Halls, working closely with internal communications to take SSC internal comms and tailor them and change them for the retail audience.
  • Advises  & supports global partners with recommendations on comms process and providing written communications that can be tailored - advises a lot during crisis to ensure our retail messaging across global is consistent.

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Undergraduate degree- preference for Communications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in people leadership position with proven people development experience
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of communications experience including change communications focused on employee experience and engagement; experience in external/internal/retail communications is an asset

Compensation and Benefits Package  

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $134,100- $176,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
