About this team

The Asset Protection Site Lead (APSL) is a key role within the lululemon Global Fulfillment Asset Protection (AP) team. The APSL’s primary responsibility is ensuring the protection and security of the Distribution Center (DC). They ensure that all physical security protocols, asset protection measures, and access controls are effectively implemented and maintained.


The APSL leads efforts to efficiently and effectively provide security and asset protection best practices across each Distribution Center, including the protection of people, product, and data. The APSL reports to the Global Fulfillment AP Manager responsible for their region and supports business operations across the end-to-end supply chain.


A day in the life: 
  • Drive third‑party guard force performance at the DC, including alignment of the guard supervisor and guard staff to lululemon expectations.
  • Lead training for the security team to ensure all personnel are fully versed in lululemon policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Actively contribute in meetings by delivering insights and updates on security operations, risks, and incident response.
  • Champion and implement security best practices while collaborating with internal stakeholders to assess and strengthen current and future security processes and initiatives.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root‑cause analysis using data to define and execute effective mitigation actions.
  • Conduct confidential investigations and deliver timely reports related to theft, fraud, and critical incidents.
  • Apply continuous improvement principles to enhance processes and increase operating efficiency.
  • Oversee physical security across the facilities, including access control points, surveillance systems, and intrusion detection.
  • Perform regular inspections and assessments of security infrastructure, identifying and executing opportunities for upgrades or improvements.
  • Coordinate as needed with law enforcement agencies and external partners.
  • Perform duties in an industrial environment requiring walking up to 8 kilometers per day and the ability to lift up to 9kg, with or without reasonable accommodation. This role supports 24/7 operations and requires flexibility in scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:
  • At least five years of experience in Retail Loss Prevention, or in Distribution Center Operations with demonstrable experience in asset protection and/or risk management.
  • Experience with access control points, surveillance systems, and intrusion detection.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Security license preferred.
  • Communication Skills – Strong ability to clearly articulate ideas, both verbally and in writing, to effectively teach others the skills needed to support the Global Fulfillment Asset Protection strategy.
  • Analytical Skills – Ability to identify, document, and create meaningful data and metrics related to Global Fulfillment AP patterns and trends within the assigned area.
  • Innovative Thinking – Ability to propose new tactics to mitigate theft and influence key business partners to gain alignment.
  • Sound Decision-Making – Ability to remain agile, balance multiple priorities, and make effective decisions that support teams and business goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
