about this team

 

Reporting to the manager of Product Analytics and Reporting, this position is an analytical swiss army knife. You will interface both with business stakeholders of the product org to understand complex questions, and go to the data to answer them. You will also interface with technical teams to assist and advise on design and implementations informed by the data. Outputs will include Power BI reports, written analysis, presentations to stakeholders, and other data products for consumption by both technical and non-technical people.

Teamwork and clear communication are key.  You are an essential part of a cross functional team supporting the  entire product organization. 

 

a day in the life: 

  • Liaise with business stakeholders, assist in understanding complex questions that our data can answer
  • Collaborate with product management to detail data requests or long term features which support product analytics team
  • Dig into existing data to inform the design and implementation of product systems and services
  • Liaise with technical stakeholders and Product Managers that warehouse the data you need
  • Develop end-to-end full stack analysis which suit the use cases for stakeholders, utilizing SQL, Power BI, python, DAX, and Excel
  • Thinking about complex business problems, playing with and devising how you can tease insights out of data
  • Colaborate with other analysts and cross functional partners
  • Assist with creating and delivering training and presentations on data products and analytical concepts

 

qualifications:

  • A demonstrated ability to perform analysis and and communicate results. That can look like a:
    1. Degree in data, math, or other science discipline
    2. College certificates in a Data or analytics related fields
    3. A strong portfolio with relevant experience, blog, or website
  • Experience in data analytics ideally in a fashion retail environment
  • Experience in version control (eg. Git), Databricks, SQL and cloud based data warehousing technology
  • Extensive experience in PowerBI services, app management, and report development
  • Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Exemplary communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Extremely organized, thorough and able to prioritize
  • Experience with experimental design and causality analysis

compensation and benefits package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $105,800-$138,800annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
