about this team
As an eCommerce Category Manager for NA Ecommerce, you are responsible for driving the near to mid-term ecommerce guest experience and category performance. This position is responsible for helping optimize lululemon’s website to increase conversion and drive sales primarily through product content and online merchandising strategies. Work will be highly collaborative, with cross functional partners including merchandising, product management, marketing, brand creative, analytics and others within the digital organization. This role requires a passion for all things digital with a comprehensive understanding of the ecommerce marketplace, including macro trends, major relevant players and industry best practices.
a day in the life: what you’ll do
- Data-Driven Assortment Insights – Partner with Merchandising and Planning to analyze online purchasing behavior, identify category performance trends, and uncover growth opportunities in the assortment.
- Online Merchandising Strategy– Execute assortment and merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive KPIs. Responsible for the performance of their categories on web and app.
- Ecommerce Strategy & Execution – Collaborate with Digital Merchandising, Ecommerce Campaigns and Marketing teams to develop and implement ecommerce marketing and assortment strategies.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting – Track and report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance, addressing regional business needs. Take action to drive sales based on analysis.
- Website Experience & Merchandising Capabilities – Work with Product Management and UX teams to provide business requirements for key initiatives to improve website experience across all categories.
- Leadership & Training – Lead implementation and change management of new tools, support onboarding, and provide training for new eCommerce Category Specialists.
qualifications
- 4-6 years in ecommerce merchandising or ecommerce buying/merchandise planning
- Experience with large sku counts or complex and diverse assortments
- Strong understanding and comfort with web analytics and financial analysis (Experience with Adobe or Google Analytics, Power BI an asset)
- Ability to lead and influence within a matrix organization with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solving, decision making, and project management skills
- BA in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications would be an asset

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $104,000 - $115,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
