about this team

The Lease Management team is responsible for the portfolio management of lease terms and requirements, ensuring adherence to the lease across the North American retail store portfolio. This role ensures that all lease terms align with executive approvals, meet financial targets, and adhere to global deal standards. Key responsibilities include lease reviews, oversight of lease data, critical date management, and the development of reporting and analytics related to lease actions. The Lease Management team collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders—including Lease Administration, Real Estate, Construction, Finance, Store Operations, Legal teams, and Landlords, ensuring seamless execution and compliance of lease documents.


a day in the life: what you’ll do

  • Lead and mentor a team of Lease Management Analysts, focusing on skill development, training, and performance optimization.
  • Manage a dedicated portfolio area within North America, executing responsibilities aligned with a Senior Analyst in Lease Management.
  • Drive process development, compliance initiatives and lease audits across the North America lease portfolio to ensure consistency, reduce risk, and limit company exposure.
  • Own the lifecycle management of the North America retail lease portfolio (existing and new), including all critical dates, lease clauses, and obligations.
  • Act as a key advisor to 25+ cross-functional teams, translating complex lease terms into actionable guidance to support strategic business decisions.


qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in retail real estate 
  • 2-3+ years in people management
  • Expertise understanding and interpretation of commercial lease language
  • University degree (or education in relevant specified field)
  • Lead new initiatives and process development

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $88,200 - $115,700 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
