about this team

Global Fulfillment Asset Protection serves as a strategic partner in safeguarding the organization’s people, assets, and operations across international geographies. This team oversees the safety and risk management initiatives across multiple Distribution Centers while directing enterprise-wide strategies to prevent shrink, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance supply chain resilience. This role is responsible for the security within our LA DC.

 

core responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a high-performing security team, providing direct coaching and performance management to ensure consistent execution of GF AP standard operating procedures, alignment to lululemon culture values, and growth of people leadership capabilities.
  • Drive supply chain-wide strategies to mitigate inventory loss and operational risk across global fulfillment operations. Lead root cause analysis, data-driven investigations, and the design of proactive loss prevention programs to reduce shrink and protect brand integrity.
  • Drive the strategic deployment and governance of physical security infrastructure—including access control, video surveillance, alarm response, and incident management systems—to safeguard people, product, and property across international facilities.
  • Lead the security of the LA DC site while demonstrating the flexibility to support broader multi-site operations as needed. Champion a culture of safety and security by implementing targeted education and training programs for frontline employees and leadership, embedding asset protection principles and emergency preparedness into daily operations.
  • Champion risk identification and mitigation through site-level assessments and executive partnership with operations leadership, ensuring scalable solutions that address facility vulnerabilities and evolving threat landscapes.
  • Provide leadership oversight to critical incident response and post-incident recovery, including high-risk events such as theft, workplace violence, and regulatory breaches, ensuring thorough investigation, documentation, and resolution in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead LA DC site (with the ability to stretch and cover a multi-DC remit) to establish a culture of safety and security through targeted education and training programs for frontline employees and leadership, embedding asset protection principles and emergency preparedness into daily operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with P&C, Legal, and external agencies (including law enforcement and regulatory bodies) to support high-integrity investigations, audits, and compliance initiatives.
  • Support business continuity and enterprise crisis response frameworks, aligning operational risk mitigation with broader organizational resilience goals.

 

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field is desired. Or equivalent work experience in security, loss prevention, or risk management will be considered in lieu of formal education
  • Relevant experience working in supply chain/distribution centers.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) desirable.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead, develop, and motivate multiple site teams across diverse locations.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Expertise in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective loss prevention and safety strategies.
  • Investigative Skills: Strong capability to conduct thorough investigations into theft, safety incidents, and policy violations.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with operations, HR, legal, and law enforcement.
  • Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in analyzing shrink, incident data, and security trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Security Technologies: Familiarity with surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and related security infrastructure.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of OSHA, DOT, and other relevant regulations impacting safety and security in distribution environments.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple initiatives, budgets, and resources effectively across a regional footprint.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500 - $135,900annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
