about this team

The Finance Optimization and Business Integration team plays a key role in delivering initiatives across lululemon. Finance Optimization focuses on the digital transformation of finance, accounting, shared services and financial operations. This team also partners with business and technology teams throughout project delivery to support the accuracy of critical financial systems.


core responsibilities:

We are looking for a Product Manager, Finance Systems to lead the strategic planning of transformational projects and continuous delivery of enhancements and solutions that increase efficiency, improve controls and user experience. This role will work closely with technology, project management and cross-functional partners to unlock scalable finance system capabilities and processes to support the growth of the lululemon’s global business.


key responsibilities: 

  • Functional Capability Assessment: Facilitate discussions with Finance stakeholders to identify their current pain points, desired future capabilities, relative priorities and map to Finance capability maturity strategy.  
  • System Capability Assessment: Consolidate the identified needs and work with lululemon technology and architecture teams and platform vendors to define the appropriate solution that addresses the business need. 
  • Prioritization, Roadmap Development and Benefits Realization: Define the priorities for the capabilities/systems identified, gain stakeholder alignment, create a sequenced roadmap and benefits realization plan. 
  • Periodic Roadmap Updates: Periodically review the roadmap, intake requests, update priorities and sequencing as needed, and socialize with stakeholders to validate sequencing and maintain broad visibility on overall progress. 
  • Requirement Gathering and Solution Design: Based on agreed priorities, work with business analysts on the team to gather, document, and finalize business and finance requirements to enable the desired capabilities. Collaborate with technology on solution design
  • Validation and Delivery: Lead approach for validating the solution designed (including testing) with stakeholders, and support operational rollout of the capabilities including process changes, training and adoption as required


qualifications

Education and Experience Qualifications: 

    Accounting or business undergraduate degree

    CPA or professional accounting designation a strong asset

    Product management or scrum / agile designation a strong asset

    Experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite, Oracle ERPs, Oracle EPM, Coupa, and similar financial systems and enterprise systems an asset.


qualifications: 

  • Experience: 5 years in a product management, project management, business analysis, or finance operations role, preferably with international retail, e-commerce, or wholesale experience. 
  • Product Roadmap Development: Strong ability to develop a product roadmap that impacts multiple stakeholder groups with varying challenges and priorities. 
  • Product-Oriented Delivery: Familiarity with working directly with technical teams to deliver using both agile and waterfall methodologies to delivery on key metrics and benefits
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of accounting, financial operations, compliance and tax in a retail, e-Commerce, and wholesale context. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights effectively at an executive level and with technical partners 
  • Facilitation Skills: Strong ability to facilitate discussions with diverse stakeholders and effectively elicit and capture insights. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience with identifying areas of improvement and pursuing action to enhance, optimize, or improve processes.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
