About this team

The Retail Brand Experience channel (RBE) is a core function of ANZ Brand & Community team, with a sharp focus on elevating brand and product stories that uniquely define lululemon across a dynamic network of physical retail touchpoints. This team plays a critical role in shaping how guests experience the brand in-store, ensuring every moment is intentional, immersive, and aligned with lululemon’s purpose and values.


Location: This role will be Sydney based with expectation of 4 days in store


A day in the life 

Reporting to the Manager, Retail Brand Experience, this role works cross-functionally to deliver the best guest experience within the market. The role focuses on the holistic guest experience of our brand within stores in our key cities. This role implements key product stories and brand initiatives strategies by supporting merchandise changes as well as product display and styling in accordance with company standards and adapted to individual store needs. In this role, you will demonstrate your passion for retail marketing, ideating the consumer journey and bringing initiatives to life in the retail environment.


  • Manage and support Flagship & Elevated (F&E) doors in executing quarterly RBE strategies working in partnership with local and regional teams to bring product and brand direction to life in Pinnacle stores
  • Collaborate with store leadership to bring RBE presentation and guest experience excellence to life on the floor 
  • Work closely with local/regional RBE teams to ensure stores deliver into global/local vision and strategies
  • Support campaign product strategies and sell through and contribute to building execution guides
  • Support retail RBE training & development tools (including co-hosting training calls)
  • Optimize guests’ experiences through consistent implementation of brand standards in key product stories, product placement strategies, and intuitive store navigation for a world-class, guest-centric experience 
  • Execute powerful and visually appealing product presentation weekly in accordance with company standards to enhance the guest experience and drive store sell through. 
  • Manage and execute RBE flips, including window activations, mannequin styling, signage and label updates, and seasonal or weekly merchandise changes as well as company-driven product initiatives and campaigns, as directed 
  • Provide direct feedback and in-the-moment training related to brand standards, product placement, and visual display techniques to support team members’ ongoing learning and development 
  • Coaches and verify top F&E stores have executed to strategy and provide relevant training as required
  • Manages on-the-ground O&O bump-in as needed, ensuring quality visual standard and strategies are met 
  • Partners with the retail team to identify and develop talent in markets to support the RBE pipeline.
  • Supports recaps on regional visual merchandising test & learn strategies as needed


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience in visual merchandising, merchandising or brand story telling role
  • Fashion/Visual Merchandising degree or diploma an asset
  • Highly developed aesthetic, sense of style and trend knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, visual, written and verbal 
  • Knowledge in Adobe Suites and Microsoft programs
  • Natural Leader
  • Proven ability to lead and work effectively through others
  • Passion for the shopping experience and visual merchandising 
  • Entrepreneurship – an ability to make decisions and take calculated risks
  • Willingness to travel (domestic and international) and work on the retail floor
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the store(s) is located 
  • Must have the ability to travel to assigned store with reliable transportation methods
