about this team

The Data & Analytics team supporting the CFO organization plays a critical role in enabling data-driven financial decision-making across the enterprise. The team partners with the Product organization to design and deliver scalable data products, analytics platforms, and automation solutions. By ensuring data quality, accessibility, and insight generation, they empower leaders to make informed strategic and operational decisions. The team bridges technology and finance, driving transformation initiatives that enhance financial transparency and overall business performance. 

 

core responsibilities

  • Very Strong in designing and developing visually compelling dashboards and reports in Power BI (and SSRS where applicable) with intuitive UX and storytelling
  • Very Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service (familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a plus)
  • Very Strong proficiency in writing efficient, optimized DAX for hands on coding and mentorship
  • Very Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and creating semantic models using Power BI, including being knowledgeable about Star/Snowflake schemas, different kinds of relationships, row-level-security, etc.
  • Strong ability to optimize report performance (Data model size, refresh performance, end-user query performance)
  • Strong Experience in troubleshooting bugs, poor user experience, technical performance issues, etc.
  • Strong Experience in DevOps and version control tools (Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Robust working experience with cloud databases, such as Snowflake, Azure SQL etc.
  • Experience working in AGILE teams, using tools like JIRA to update and coordinate work
  • Experience in setting up data governance, security, and role-based access in Power BI
  • Familiarity with core financial concepts (e.g., P&L, balance sheet, KPIs)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills 
  • Experience in leading projects, collaboration, and mentoring more junior developers
  • Always on “what got us here won’t get us there” mentality – the mentality that is not satisfied with status quo and always looks at ways to improve themselves, the team, and how we work

 

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or data analytics roles
  • 8+ years of proven work experience in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and visualization best practices
  • Very Strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation
  • Robust knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts
  • Ability to successfully manage priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly evolving organization

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $123,500 - $162,100annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
