We are the Global Production team for Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Vietnam, committed to fostering strong relationships with our vendors in apparel, accessories, and raw materials. Our mission is to ensure that lululemon collaborates with the finest world-class manufacturers. Working collaboratively across the entire product team, we strive to align our products with our business strategy, quality standards, and cost objectives. Mandate
  • Strategise and build a robust global RM production team that fuels and supports our expanding business.

  • Take ownership of projects, being decisive while considering the overall objectives and resources involved. Take global considerations into account for each decision and action.

  • Collaborate with your team to nurture their development, support their vision and goals, and cultivate the next generation of world-class leaders.



A day in the life: 
  • Responsible for managing and leading lululemon’s mission to get the highest standards in production management processes for raw material manufacturing
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine the Raw Materials Production Management program
  • Lead a team of Production Managers and Production Leads to provide comprehensive advice for production
  • Ensure cohesive Production/WIP management procedures and initiatives for raw material suppliers from Supply Planning to Bulk
  • Ensure On Time Performance (OTP) of our raw materials by partnering with Raw Material vendors
  • Provide leadership-level strategies on in-region production management and share strategies and vision with production team
  • Continuously enhance process efficiencies, both internal and external
  • Manage lead Time reduction projects
  • Drive RMV behavior to meet standards, by fostering long-lasting partnerships and a collaborative approach
  • Partner daily with Quality, Finished Goods Production and QATC teams to ensure bulk readiness and support production root cause analysis
  • Serve as a key leader bridging RMD, technical readiness and production teams
  • Effectively analyse all aspects of a problem, gathering necessary data, consult others, make informed decisions, and communicate with the appropriate parties
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to develop the Raw Materials Strategic Road Maps. Seek experts in the industry for specialty skills & knowledge related to textile & non-textile materials
  • Initiate sustainable raw material processes and drive significant environmental and social/economic results that can change the world. Raise the bar and actively participate in world-wide organizations that share objectives & causes
  • Continuously focus on team development and maintaining high team morale

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in textiles, business management or allied field
  • 10-15 years of experience in the apparel industry, particularly with raw materials
  • 7-10 years of proven management experience leading a team and implementing business strategies
  • Experience working on-site with manufacturers worldwide and strong knowledge of supply chain operations
  • Proven team player with knowledge of cross-functional team accountabilities and requirements
  • Ability to simultaneously manage complex projects and effectively communicate updates to key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate findings to both scientists and nonscientists, supported by strong presentation skills
  • Thirst for continuous education within the textile and corresponding industries

  • Capability to act as the team captain, gaining the trust of others and inspiring them to engage with your vision
  • Capacity to observe, listen and read between the lines; your analytical mind leads others to seek you out.

  • Experienced in creating intellectual property and you understand its importance. You ensure proper Intellectual Property protection with internal and external legal teams
  • Understanding that success is found in an attention to detail throughout the entire process and you put the guest first.   You may well be the world’s greatest entrepreneurial scientist
