business operations/business management

  • Supports the Director, Global Technology Operations, to develop and execute planning processes and planning integration across the broader organization. 
  • Helps in managing the team's rhythm of business (ROB) to ensure projects are completed on time. 
  • Works with cross-company/team counterparts to manage team participation as needed for key business events, next fiscal year planning, running business reviews, and other strategic business planning activities. 
  • Understand the end-to-end business, manage priorities, and provide actionable business insight recommendations to enable effective decision-making.
  • Reviews adherence to privacy and compliance. 
  • Ensures internal continuation of business operations during all times, including periods of change or unusual circumstances. Contributes to finding workable solutions to business problems.
  • Leverages or continues to build broader networks to foster relationships that support execution across the business. Manages and cultivates relationships with leaders and peers of internal teams.
  • Supports effective communication between the CIO, Technology team members, and other stakeholders; prepares and delivers clear & concise reports, presentations, and updates; coordinates internal and external communication channels to ensure consistent messaging
  • Provides analysis, advice and support to enable the CIO & directs to best achieve technology vision and goals
  • Supports the planning & execution for all leadership forums/meetings/offsites.
  • Manages and maintains the annual technology leadership operating and communications calendar (overall rhythm of the business for the Tech org)
  • Supports management of the Strategy & Operations budget, along with the Tech Leadership Travel budget.


tech organizational health

  • Serve as a key partner / central point of contact for key partners to the Tech org including Facilities, FP&A, P&C and Legal
  • Monitors team/organization health and supports the leader in responding to team culture issues, as well as promoting culture initiatives
  • Provides support for organization-wide engagements, such as town halls and leadership open forums
  • Communicates key processes to facilitate clear communication with the Tech leaders and organization


core responsibilities

Supports the day-to-day operating rhythm of business for the global technology organization, supporting the CIO's initiatives and ensuring the efficient operation of the Technology organization within lululemon. Collaborates closely with the Director, Global Technology Operations, and key partners to drive strategic objectives, facilitate decision-making, and optimize the use of resources.


qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience directly supporting a CIO, CTO or other executive in a chief of staff, executive assistant or similar capacity
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Must be able to communicate effectively to different audiences and across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends and technologies
  • Ability to influence across the organization at multiple levels including senior leadership levels and cross-functional key partners
  • Experience planning and executing leadership offsites 
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate, mitigate, and resolve conflicts across working groups
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500 - 107,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
