About this team

We bring technology and functionality to life by developing fabrics, trim, colors and prints for lululemon premium performance product. Our partnership with product development, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality ensures we create product that performs for the intended use and meets testing standards, which provides a desirable experience for our guest.


The Trim Merchandiser comes with knowledge of hard and soft trims, is one who has extensive knowledge of trims including development, construction and manufacturing. This self-leader has strong communication and interpersonal skills, is organized, is great at managing timelines and meeting deadlines. Relationships are very important to them, they are wonderful collaborators and cherish their cross-functional relationships as well as cultivating and nurturing partnerships with their suppliers. They are an innovative creative thinker with a technically sound foundation.


A day in the life 
  • Serve as the regional representative of lululemon’s Trim team in South Asia, developing and supporting a strong, reliable trim vendor base 
  • Drive multi-source redevelopments with vendors that are aligned with lululemon's vendor strategy
  • Collaborate with RMS on new vendor exploration and evaluation
  • Explore localization potential through new vendor developments from SA region
  • Work closely with FGVs on any vertical trims development opportunities in conjunction with RMS
  • Drive and lead projects that support lululemon business initiatives
  • Monitor seasonal Buy deliveries as well as work with Quality team on issue resolution
  • Proactively work with X-functional partners in resolving delivery issues without compromising quality so that trims can be delivered on-time
  • Onsite support where necessary
  • Build strong relationships with our trims suppliers by bringing clarity to the suppliers on any of the LLL needs
  • Leverage advanced data analysis to identify trends, improve performance, optimize production capacity, and support strategic decision-making across the global trim supply chain.


Qualifications:
  • Degree in Textile Sciences and/or Fashion Design. We will consider the candidates without a degree if the industry experience demonstrates a strong technical background in trim
  • 8 years of experience in trim or related fields.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI, with demonstrated experience in sourcing strategy data analysis.
  • Must speak and write English
