about this team

The Global Brand Insights team is a trusted partner in the development of long and short-range brand, community, and guest experience strategies. Our team enables brand, community, impact, and guest experience strategy development through the design, management, execution, analysis, synthesis, and delivery of consumer, competitive and cultural global insights. 


Key activities for our team include conducting primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary research to understand the behaviours, perceptions, values, and attitudes of lululemon’s current and potential global guests, brand equity across global markets, and developing, refining and evaluating the performance of brand and community initiatives. 

 

a day in the life:

The Global Brand Insights Analyst will be responsible for supporting across critical Global Brand Insights programs, including the Global Brand Health Tracker, Quantitative Ad-Hoc Brand and Guest Research, and lululemon’s Guest Insights Panel. The Global Brand Insights Analyst is crucial in supporting the powerful delivery of customer, category and competitor insights to inform and evaluate lululemon’s brand strategies and initiatives.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • On-going support in delivering both standardized and custom Global Brand Health Tracking reports and analyses.
  • Assist in the delivery of custom quantitative market research initiatives, including discovery and intake, proposal development and evaluation, vendor onboarding, questionnaire/ discussion guide design, data analysis, and reporting. 
  • Across a wide variety of projects, support in delivering compelling visualizations and reporting, with an emphasis on generating meaningful, and actionable insights, implications and recommendations. 
  • Provide quantitative support to mixed method research studies from inception to completion, maximizing our internal knowledge base, and leverage syndicated research to build a strong understanding of consumer needs.
  • Leverage and synthesize insights from a large and diverse range of primary and secondary market research sources to support across Global Brand Insights project needs. 
  • Stay up to date on consumer and industry trends to surface up fresh insights and strategic implementations as it relates to the category and consumer
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure insights are well-rounded and brought to life in a way that both validates and inspires.

 


qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant market research and analytics experience - designing, executing, and analyzing large quantitative market research studies
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships with external market research vendors to execute quantitative research studies
  • Experience leveraging custom quantitative survey tools (i.e., Alida) to answer research questions (i.e., questionnaire development, scripting, link testing, data analysis, charting, reporting, etc.)
  • Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical skills
  • You’re naturally curious and love problem solving - you enjoy getting to the core of an issue through investigation and analysis, and you can take data to insights and ultimately to action
  • Experience supporting a large brand health tracker and working closely with external suppliers to ensure business objectives are met on time and on budget
  • Proven ability collaborating with others – teamwork makes the dream work
  • You’re a storyteller and can transform data into concise and compelling information through strong analytical, visualization, and report writing capabilities
  • You’re proactive, with great attention to detail
  • A passion for market research, consumer insights, brand tracking and the activewear apparel industry
  • Strong multitasking capabilities and the able to work successfully in an environment of tight timeframes and continuous change

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $66,000-$86,600annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
