About this team

Reporting to the Buying Manager, Regional Buying, the Buying Coordinator will be accountable for supporting the team to maintain accurate data inputs, report preparation, samples and GTM logistics. This role offers a great opportunity for the candidate to enter, and grow, within the merchandising function.


A day in the life 
  • Assist the regional buying team in managing the regional line plan; including upkeep of flow, weekly stories, cancellations and other shifts in the business
  • Support role to the buying team in preparation of weekly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting preparation
  • Support role to the buying team in preparation for key GTM meetings: Seasonal Main Buy Review, Buy Sign Off, Seasonal Readiness, Compass Call etc.
  • Sample coordination (approximately 80 hours per season)


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, commerce or fashion merchandising preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret multiple data points across numerous channels and market segments
  • Excellent sense of style and color trends; athletically minded
  • Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, written and verbal
  • Entrepreneurship – a willingness to learn and make decisions and take calculated risks
  • Focus on creating an extraordinary guest experience, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Self-awareness, with a desire for constant self-improvement (goal-oriented)
