about this role

 


Reporting to the Strategic Sales Director, the Wholesale HEAD OF SALES owns the wholesale strategy ensuring its aligned with EMEA regional goals. This role is accountable for managing the department budgets and sales plan efficiently, hitting quarterly and annual sales plans. This role will manage a small team, providing coaching, feedback and support to help their leadership & development.

Accountable for driving the wholesale strategy and operational needs for wholesale Key Accounts, both traditional and strategic sales partners. This role works cross functionally with leaders in Merchandising and Planning, Store Design, Retail Managers, Brand and Marketing to aid and drive wholesale sales objectives and revenue goals.

  • Execute a comprehensive wholesale strategy that aligns with EMEA regional goals and growth plans, to achieve and succeed quarterly and annual revenue and profitability goals.
 
  • You identify new strategic partners, lead partner negotiation & develop brand building relationships in new markets.
 
  • Owns P&L, department budgets, quarterly sales, annual & 5yr planning.
 
  • You help deliver brand integrity and lululemon wholesale standards by collaborating with Brand marketing and community, retail brand experience, and store design.
 
  • Cross functional collaboration, closely working with Retail Managers, Tech, Operations and FP&A to create an integrated strategy, ensuring cohesive brand messaging and delivery.
 
  • You manage two direct reports, supporting your team to realize their full potential, through coaching, feedback and seeking out team members strengths and celebrating their success.
 

 

 

Skills & experience

 
  • 8+ years working within wholesale in a leadership role, with a proven track record of leading & empowering teams.
 
  • A proven record of driving and exceeding revenue targets.
 
  • Strategic mindset and analytical skills, strong business acumen with a focus on strategic thinking, problem solving and the ability to deal with change and complexity.
 
  • You have proven ability to create and drive business planning & commercial execution.
 
  • Stakeholder influence, effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, tailoring communication style to suit different audiences and perspectives.
 
  • Experience of working with a volume brand with premium partners & programs. (Preferred but not essential)
