about this team


The primary purpose of this position is to partner with franchise partners & commercial teams ensuring that licence stores have the correct assortments and optimum stocks to achieve sales & sell-through targets. The Senior Planner monitors the business on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, understanding changes in trend and reacting to the business to maximize sales and mitigate risk for the partners. This individual will partner with management, stores, sales support, and Franchise partners to identify opportunities and help execute strategies to build strong assortments that will achieve/surpass financial objectives.  

 

core responsibilities


  • Partner with the Senior Buyers on the development of pre-season sales and receipt plans for licensed market regions. Develop, communicate and execute financial plans and strategies that support the merchandising, marketing and financial objectives of the brand & licensed market regions.
  • Creation oflong rangebusiness plans to support & validate the growth of licensed market regions and to evaluate business opportunities within existing and new emerging licensed markets.Partner with licensed markets teams to create tops down financial plans to bottoms up style-colour level plans.
  • Partnering with licensed market buyers/planners in managing OTB and KPIs to identify and to solve for any inventory concerns
  • Determine KPIs and develop tools for reporting & analysis based on needs of the business. Drive financial results that maximize sales, inventory andbottom lineprofitability
  • Utilise aWSSI tomanage in season open-to-buys by re-projecting the balance of the season after actualizing each month, minimising seasonal terminal stock & cancellation.Manage receipts and adjust inventory flow.
  • Propose & agree seasonal OTBs before each market with operators / commercial teams
  • Actively engage in a variety of projects & ad-hoc reporting depending on business needs. Exhibits the initiative to look beyond the everyday business to seek out opportunities to maximize business potential.
  • Provide support & mentorship to junior team members.

 

qualifications

  • 8+ Years of Planning experience and Franchise/Wholesale industry experience preferred
  • Proven ability to work with a cross functional team 
  • Expert knowledge of Excel is required Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently. 
  • Effective communication skills (written & verbal) & extremely organized, thorough and able to prioritize 
  • Expert knowledge of Excel is required
  • Detail orientated & analytical 
  • Results oriented – strong sense of motivation 
  • Self directed problem solver, proactive and resourceful 
  • Capable of effective multiple demand management from a variety of sources and adapts well to change. 
  • Ability and willingness to accept and provide feedback.
  • Willingness to travel (domestic and international)
