JOB SUMMARY
· Reporting into the Franchise Development Director, the Senior Franchise Development Project Manager is responsible for building and leading all new market entry and business operations projects for the Global Franchise markets, a strategic growth priority for the lululemon business.
· Responsible for developing and embedding franchise operating frameworks to ensure operational excellence and alignment with lululemon global standards.
· Builds and nurtures strong relationships with franchise partners and internal stakeholders to align business priorities and drive sustainable growth.
· Influences cross-functional teams and global counterparts to ensure franchise needs are prioritised in business decisions and market launches.
· Plays a critical role in transforming the franchise operating model, ensuring successful integration, scalability and ongoing operational readiness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Develop and implement strategic market expansion plans for Franchise, ensuring smooth and timely entry into new markets.
· Support Franchise Development Director in leading and influencing commercial and legal negotiations.
· Embed and champion the global franchise operating model, ensuring seamless integration into the business.
· Finalise and implement an external Operating Manual to empower partners to onboard effortlessly and execute their business to brand standards.
· Develop and deploy an Internal Operating Manual, establishing clear roles and responsibilities across the Global Franchise Centre of Excellence.
· Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to build sustainable, scalable ways of working internally and with franchise partners.
· Collaborate with Global Fulfilment, Digital, and Tech teams to implement systemic and logistical solutions that support successful market launches and ongoing operations.
· Represent franchise operational needs in infrastructure development, ensuring newly designed order and inventory management systems align with franchise business requirements.
· Build strong relationships and trust with franchise partners and internal stakeholders to align on business priorities, ensure preparedness, and support sustainable growth.
· Develop a deep understanding of global practices, current franchise operations, and competitive franchise models to inform and enhance the franchise operating model.
· Ensure franchise needs are prioritised in global business decisions, fostering alignment and support from key stakeholders to drive long-term success.
QUALIFICATIONS
· 10+ years’ experience working with external partners in a franchise, wholesale, marketplace or similar capacity
· Proven ability to influence a cross-functional team towards achieving a common goal
· Demonstrated success leading transformational change in new or growing businesses models
· Sound understanding of apparel markets across multiple regions
· Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills
· University degree
