about this role

Reporting to the Senior Director, P&C Strategic Business Operations, this role leads a team of Business Analysts / Process Design Consultants focused on designing and optimizing P&C processes. This leadership role partners closely with our P&C Centres of Excellence (COEs) and other stakeholders to drive process improvements that enhance business value, employee experience and operational efficiency.

 

core responsibilities


Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Business Analysts responsible for facilitating P&C process design and ongoing process optimization. 
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and collaboration. 
  • Lead the team’s engagement and interaction model with the COE business process owners, ensuring strong partnership and consultative model. 


Process Design & Optimization 

  • Consult with P&C COEs and business process owners to confirm prioritized processes to be design and/or optimized, leveraging data and insights that point to key process areas in need of improvement efforts. 
  • Develop our P&C process optimization playbook that includes best practices, standards and tools for: current state process mapping, eliciting needs and opportunities (pain points), facilitating future state process design, and confirming future state business requirements. 
  • Seek to drive scalability across P&C processes – looking for opportunities to harmonize processes, drive standardization, and remove unnecessary variations. 
  • Ensure that our P&C processes meet compliance, risk and audit requirements across jurisdictions. 
  • Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, RPA, chatbots) for applicability in HR processes, and identify opportunities for automation and platform enablement to streamline processes.
  • Ensure alignment of process improvements with business objectives and P&C strategic priorities, as well as alignment with overall P&C service delivery model and employee experience expectations. 
  • Collaborate with P&C Platforms & Technology teams to implement (configure and deploy) optimized processes. 


Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Build strong relationships with COEs & business process owners to help influence roadmap of process optimization work, as well as understand pain points and improvement opportunities, across all workforce segments and geographies.
  • Support the identification and enrollment of key stakeholders in process optimization efforts. 
  • Support implementation through partnership with project delivery & change management teams, including clear communication of process changes and benefits. 


Governance & Measurement

  • Develop and maintain P&C process optimization playbook: frameworks and standards, including working model and interaction model with stakeholders (e.g. business process owners, etc)
  • Develop and maintain our P&C process taxonomy with corresponding specific business process owners. 
  • Establish process optimization KPIs to measure process efficiency, effectiveness and employee experience impact. 

 

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in HR operations, process improvement or business analysis. 
  • Proven experience leading teams and driving cross-functional initiatives. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and systems/platforms (e.g. Workday)


Skills & Expertise  

  • Strong understanding of P&C functional areas and operating models.
  • Experience with process design or process engineering using relevant tools (e.g. Visio, Miro, Lucidchart, etc.)
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. RPA, workflow automation platforms, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making. 
  • Change management experience in HR transformation programs or initiatives. 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to align stakeholders from project team level to executives.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $134,100 - $176,000annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
