The lululemon’s Upstream Supply Chain Technology team enables Lululemon's supply chain from raw materials to finished good production through innovative technology solutions. Our purpose is to empower the organization to drive innovation and deliver on its strategic vision that includes optimized sourcing & manufacturing processes, cultivating a responsible supply chain while ensuring superior product quality. Core responsibilities  

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will design and own complex technology solution designs that enable priority business capabilities and deliver measurable outcomes across multiple systems and business areas. You will work closely with business and technology leaders to define target solution architectures, document designs with clear trade-offs and evolution considerations, and communicate compelling architectural narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will guide teams through system selection and build-versus-buy decisions, ensure solutions align with domain and enterprise standards, and provide sustained architectural guidance through implementation. You apply deep expertise across architecture, software engineering, cloud, and integration to resolve complex challenges and ensure solutions are scalable, resilient, and fit for purpose. 

 

Select responsibilities include: 

  • Design solution architectures that address defined business requirements and technical constraints 
  • Document solution designs, assumptions, trade-offs, constraints, and evolution considerations 
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and vendors aligned to architectural standards 
  • Collaborate with business and engineering teams to translate architecture into executable delivery plans 
  • Ensure solutions are interoperable, reusable, and consistent with domain and enterprise standards 

 

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred 
  • 6-10 years of solution architecture, software development, systems engineering, or technical consulting experience, or equivalent 
  • Proven experience designing multi-system technology solutions using optimized architectural patterns to ensure scalability, performance, and integration 
  • Experience researching and evaluating technologies for multi-system solutions; familiarity with leading platform selection discussions using defined evaluation criteria 
  • Demonstrated ability to connect architectural decisions to business objectives; experience assessing stakeholder impact and translating technical complexity for non-technical audiences 
  • Experience solutioning end-to-end full-stack applications, integration of SaaS and PaaS systems. 
  • Familiarity with databases, ML Ops principles, and ML/data processing tool, suck is Databricks

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $132,600 - $174,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
