About this team 

The architecture group at lululemon is responsible for guiding the design and implementation of technical strategies that support every aspect of our rapidly scaling global business. You will work in a matrixed environment alongside peers in business, engineering, program, ux and strategy – among other disciplines – to collaboratively develop and deliver industry leading technology solutions aligned to business goals and objectives. In addition to your primary team, project, or portfolio you will be supported by a diverse Architecture Community of Practice, which provides learning and governance resources to all architects and will help you build a strong and robust practice of leadership grounded in technical proficiency, innovative thinking and empathy. 

core responsibilities

The Architect develops detailed solution roadmaps for a specific system, project, or application. You will partner closely with engineers and project management to ensure that implementation meets design expectations and adheres to enterprise architecture standards. 

  • Produce and present solution options to project leadership with clear definitions of the benefits and tradeoffs of each proposal. 
  • Participate and present at architecture design reviews and lead the governance activities for a given solution. 
  • Act as subject matter expert within your specific product/platform while also demonstrating knowledge beyond a singular service to encompass multiple interdependent services both on premise and within SaaS or cloud infrastructure and effectively design interactions in a highly matrixed environment. 
  • Develop and maintain component level (e.g. system, service or application) roadmap(s) for assigned portfolio and ensure that solutions recommended for implementation adhere to organizational architecture standards, patterns & practices. 
  • Design and develop detailed architecture design artifacts (including, but not limited to logical, conceptual and integration diagrams) for assigned teams and project
  • Partner with organizational change teams to drive adoption and lead enablement strategies. 
  • Stay ahead of the curve on new ServiceNow capabilities, including Now Assist AI, workspace innovations, and advanced planning features, bringing forward ideas on how these can benefit lululemon. 
  • Provide architectural governance through the Architecture Review Board and ensure non-functional requirements like security, performance, and resilience are met. 
  • Mentor and support teammates across product, project management, development, and operations, helping them get the most from SPM. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • BS / BA in technology related discipline or relevant industry experience 
  • Able to design to systems that meet specific operational SLAs and able to describe basic security and compliance aspects of cloud platform primitives & data integrations 
  • 10+ years of experience in portfolio management or enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years hands-on with ServiceNow SPM/ITBM. 
  • Strong expertise across the full SPM domain—ideation, demand, funding, cost, resources, projects/programs, time card, portfolio planning, and benefits realization. 
  • Direct experience owning and running SPM operations, including development, upgrades, and adoption. 
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities such as Workspaces, Flow Designer, UI Builder, Performance Analytics, IntegrationHub, and scripting 
  • Strong background in integrations with platforms like Workday, Snowflake, and Kafka. 
  • Skilled in SQL and Python for analytics and data validation. 
  • A proven ability to build impactful reports and dashboards, from legacy approaches to modern visualization. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and align executives and cross-functional teams. 
  • A solid track record of providing architectural governance and delivering against SLAs. 
  • Experience in global retail or consumer industries. 
  • Active ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS-SPM/ITBM) or readiness to certify; PMP, SAFe, or TOGAF credentials are a plus. 
  • Hands-on experience with rate modeling and benefits realization frameworks. 
  • Proven success leading teams through enterprise change and adoption.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $123,500-$162,100annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
