about this team

This role leads inbound logistics planning and category management by driving collaboration across MP&A, Inbound operations, DCs, and logistics partners to ensure accurate forecasting, analytics, and on-time KPI performance reporting. It is a vital role that drives Inbound Category Management strategy to meet or exceed budget objectives, Optimizes freight spend and financial controls through strategic RFPs, cost accounting systems, accrual management, and robust freight audit and pay processes. Enables data-driven decision-making by implementing tools and processes for gap analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement in cost efficiency and operational excellence.

 

 

a day in the life

  • Leads and develops overall team within Global Inbound Logistics Category Management, Inbound Planning & Analytics
  • Responsible for strategy and design of Inbound Logistics freight contract negotiation and management
  • Active engagement with all inbound logistics service providers; i.e. MBR’s, ABR’s, rating exercises, conferences
  • Accountable for delivering timely AOP and LTP financials for inbound logistics
  • Partner with Procurement, Legal and other key internal partners on creation and maintaining of MSA’s 
  • Develops, maintains and evolves the inbound logistics analytics, data integrity & reporting platform
  • Produces meaningful, accessible and actionable market insights for the inbound logistics category
  • Responsible for overall end-to-end inbound logistics financial decision making, analytics and financial reporting
  • Collaborates closely with business, product management and technology stakeholders to ensure all inbound logistics visibility & financial platforms, reporting & analytics requirements are developed, understood and meaningful
  • Leads global inbound planning and forecasting activities, partner with key internal and external stakeholders to enhance visibility and predictability of Inbound operations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, DCs, Trade, Category Management, Origin Operations, Merch Planning, Finance to optimize Inbound logistics processes and enhance overall operational efficiency

 

qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in related field – Business, Supply Chain Mgmt, Logistics or similar
  • 10 + years of work experience in logistics and business analytics
  • Proven People leader skills
  • Financial acumen with the ability to partner effectively with Finance/FP&A.
  • Strong industry connections within the global logistics space
  • Verified experience negotiating global logistics MSA’s, SLA’s, rates and service offerings
  • Ability to self-generate meaningful Presentations 
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to navigate large amounts of data
  • Demonstrates a drive for continuous improvement
  • Experience in leading projects in the analytics & logistics space
  • Strong desire to learn and grow

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $157,400 - $206,600annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
