about the role + team

Within the digital team, the Ecommerce Operations Manager acts as a strategic conduit for International Ecommerce Operations, driving operational excellence and supporting global planning. This role partners with international regional teams to address strategic priorities, collaborates with the North America Ecommerce team on global initiatives and vendor management, and works cross-functionally with Product & Program Management to implement technology and process improvements. 

 

They will lead vendor optimization, defines and tracks operational metrics, and drives change adoption. They work across teams to enhance systems, streamline workflows, and strengthen quality assurance processes - all grounded in lululemon’s values and team principles. Serving as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on requirements and impacts. 

 

what you’ll do

Operational Planning & Excellence 

  • Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality. 
  • Implement new tools, workflows, and processes to improve efficiency. 
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards to track performance and project delivery. 
  • Manage vendor partnerships and resolve issues swiftly. 
  • Track and report metrics on operational performance, risks, and dependencies. 
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks through proactive issue management and escalation. 
  • Ensure effective use and optimization of operational tools and systems. 
  • Own issue triage and escalation processes across tech and regional teams. 
  • Maintain and optimize workflow automation tools (e.g., Jira) to reduce manual effort. 

 

Project Management 

  • Manage cross-functional projects from planning through execution, ensuring deliverables are on time and within scope. 
  • Define project plans, resource allocation, timelines, risks, and dependencies. 
  • Partner with business leads to align operational projects with strategic goals. 
  • Manage communication, reporting, and stakeholder updates throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Lead cross-team planning and dependency management for global initiatives. 

 

Strategic Support 

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, increase capacity, and improve productivity. 
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support scalable and repeatable processes. 
  • Align stakeholders on long-term priorities and strategic initiatives. 
  • Represent Operations in enterprise and global initiatives. 
  • Define key metrics to measure operational effectiveness and establish best practices. 
  • Drive automation, technology adoption, and process improvements. 

 

qualifications

  • 7+ years in ecommerce, digital operations, or related field 
  • Strong operational planning and execution capabilities 
  • Data-driven decision-making with expertise in KPI and metrics development * Vendor and stakeholder management experience with cross-functional project leadership 
  • Proven ability in process improvement and change management 
  • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, workflows, and automation tools 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills 
  • Experience with operational metrics, process improvement, and change adoption 
  • Familiarity with global ecommerce ecosystems and technology platforms 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Technology, or related field

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
