about this team

As a member of the Global Communications team, this role reports directly into the Senior Manager, Global Internal Communications and Engagement and will act as a strategic partner for Talent Acquisition and key internal client groups in marketing lululemon as an employer of choice. The Employer Brand function brings the unique lululemon experience to life across external talent marketing channels, internal platforms, events, and more. A seasoned communications and marketing professional, the ideal candidate is globally minded, highly motivated, and data driven with a passion for creating meaningful impact through periods of growth. This role is a key connector and advisor to cross-functional partners to directly shape lululemon’s future by driving results, through people.

 

core responsibilities

  • Leads the creation and execution of an employer brand strategy that positions lululemon as an employer of choice and attracts a diverse slate of top talent
  • Continuously develops employer brand capabilities for scale with a focus on data-driven insights and efficiency
  • Partners cross-functionally with global Talent Acquisition teams, People & Culture, IDEA, Global Brand Marketing, among other functions, on strategic communications and marketing efforts
  • Oversees the development of an employer brand positioning and creative hub in partnership with the Employer Brand Content Lead
  • Works closely with the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition Strategic Operations, and Employer Brand Content Lead on talent marketing assets including asset creation, photography, videography, and more
  • Contributes to an overarching storytelling strategy across internal and external talent marketing channels
  • Manages employer brand channels and vendor relationships in partnership with Talent Acquisition, including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, MyGWork, and more
  • Trains global talent acquisition and business leaders on employer branding and marketing framework, tactics, and processes to build appropriate candidate funnels
  • Manages a global talent marketing budget in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Global Communications
  • Ensures all employer brand and talent marketing activity supports the attraction of talent in line with our Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action (IDEA) objectives
  • Manages a team with a high care, high performance approach

 

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of employer brand experience; communications and marketing experience is an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years of people leadership experience
  • Proven track record of success with a variety of recruiting methods including direct sourcing, social recruiting and traditional methods 
  • Strong communication skills, with a healthy balance of visual and speaking skills
  • Adept at navigating complex, fast-paced environments
  • Constant and curious learner; passionate to evolve and lead best-in-class communications and talent marketing practices

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500- $135,900 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and , subject to program eligibility requirements.
