The Product & Technical Development (PD/TD) Operations team is pivotal in optimizing workflows, managing timelines, and ensuring the seamless execution of development strategies. We are experts in the go-to-market (GTM) process, removing operational roadblocks and enabling our development teams to achieve their milestones. Our work unlocks creative capacity and empowers teams to focus on their core endeavors.

 

 core responsibilities

As the Senior Manager, PD/TD Operations, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of product and technical development operations, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and optimizing departmental processes. You are an experienced strategist, planner and operator that independently, through leading dynamic teams and by way of executive and stakeholder influence, delivers business critical solutions that enable us to deliver on our long-term enterprise goals. You will be responsible for managing the department budget, supporing functional onboarding and facilitating key milestones. Your leadership will drive the successful delivery of department-led initiatives and support the evolution of our GTM strategies. This role reports in the SVP, Product & Technical Development and Packaging & Labelling. 

 

  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to enterprise planning by aligning departmental goals with broader organizational objectives. Accountable for creating and operationalizing functional plans to ensure all GTM milestones are achieved.
  • Budget Management: Own and manage the department budget for PD/TD ensuring efficient allocation of resources. 
  • Training & Development:. In partnership with the Learning and Leadership team you will support in functional onboarding.
  • Milestone Facilitation: Schedule, host, and facilitate key departmental milestones such as GTM deliverables and workshops. 
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team, ensuring timely delivery of departmental objectives to support GTM initiatives. Build a high performing team. 
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the portfolio of departmental projects, including tracking, resourcing, and ensuring alignment with in-flight seasons.
  • Partnership & Collaboration: Partner with GTM Evolution to identify opportunities, design solutions, and implement them across the business. .
  • Process Optimization: Continuously optimize departmental toolsets and processes within GTM guardrails to enhance efficiency and effectiveness..
  • Initiative Delivery: Lead the execution of department-led initiatives that extend beyond the GTM calendar, such as long-term brand and product strategies.

qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Product & Technical Development or a related field preferred.  
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in development, with at least 5 years in an operations function.
  • Expert understanding of the go to market and product creation process
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage various projects and work streams simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organization skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills. Ability to create alignment and reach consensus across multiple cross functional teams. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs, Adobe and Smartsheet.
  • Demonstrated ability in operational problem solving and process-oriented thinking. 
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative team environment.

compensation and benefits package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $134,100-$176,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
