SS is lululemon's sales channel that partners with businesses, ambassadors, athletes, and local business owners who are passionate about improving their communities through health and wellness, offering a differentiated business proposal known in the market as B2B. The Strategic Sales channel is key to opening and developing markets to begin building community and generating demand for the brand in various states of the country with the presence of our four ongoing programs: Wholesale, Team, Corporate Sales, and Campus.


 
Job Summary

The position of Strategic Sales Acccount Manager reports directly to the Sales Manager. It is a highly motivated, results- oriented role with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The executive is responsible for prospecting new customers, closing sales, and maintaining continuous follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Their focus should be on providing quality customer service, identifying and analyzing business opportunities, and generating long-term relationships while adhering to brand guidelines throughout the process. This position ensures the achievement of annual, quarterly, and monthly sales goals for the channel. It also oversees and executes the process of opening customer proposals to maximize sales and optimize inventory.
 
 
A day in the life

  • Drives the annual sales plan and Open To Buy (OTB) for the channel according to the customized portfolio.
  • Develops and executes the comprehensive business proposal for the four programs. 
  • Seeks and classifies generated leads into hot leads (high conversion probability) and cold leads (low interest). Prioritizes follow-up efforts based on the quality of each lead.
  • Responsible for managing not only the current client portfolio but also identifying new market objectives to propose products or services and seek new potential customer.
  • Defines and updates the stages of the sales pipeline, ensuring a clear representation of the status of each opportunity.
  • Keeps the pipeline updated and documents each significant interaction with leads.
  • Uses visual tools to facilitate tracking and understanding of progress toward sales goals.
  • Ensures that all internal and external business processes are carried out with the involved areas.
  • Client Onboarding: Guides new clients through the product or service implementation process. Provides necessary training and resources to ensure a positive experience from the outset.
  • Ensures clients understand all features and benefits of the products purchased as well as the execution of Brand guidelines.
  • Conducts regular follow-ups with clients to identify improvement opportunities and possible churn risks. Utilizes analytical tools to gain insights into client product usage and anticipate needs. Establishes metrics and KPIs to evaluate customer satisfaction and success.
  • Budget Management: Administers the expense budget for all activities and events throughout the year.

Skills & experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience with demonstrated knowledge in the commercial area.
  • Availability to travel for client meetings and industry events, as necessary.
  • Self-initiative with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Strong attention to detail, proactivity, enthusiasm for working with cross-functional collaborators, and problem-solving abilities. Fosters connection by prioritizing people and building trusting relationships.
