about this team

The Lease Administration Team is responsible for ensuring the company complies with all financial lease terms across the North American portfolio. Working closely with Lease Management, the Lease Administration Team is responsible for maintaining landlord communication and managing the review of monthly rent roll, one-time payments, percentage rent payments and annual reconciliations. Lease Administration reviews lease agreements to set up rental schedules in partnership with Accounting, facilitate tenant allowance collection, and manages the lease expense audit program. This team works closely with various internal and external cross functional partners, including Real Estate, Construction, Finance, Accounting and Legal and work in partnership with Landlords.

 

core responsibilities

Responsible for the review, setup and management of all rent expenses in respective NA portfolio (managed in Lucernex system) 

• Review and processing of monthly rent roll, one-time payments, and year-end reconciliations

• Work in partnership with Landlords to reconcile account statements

• Tenant Allowance collection 

• Support with lease expense audits to identify potential savings

• Analyze, review and interpret gross sales language as it relates to percentage rent

• Work with various cross functional partners, including Lease Management, Construction, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting and Legal

 

qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in commercial real estate or lease accounting  

• University degree

• Attention to detail, high level of accuracy, & strong organizational skills

• Strong analytical and Microsoft Office skills

• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written

• Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with internal and external business partners

• Experience with lease management software Lucernex an asset

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $66,000 – $86,600annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
