about this team

As part of the Compensation team and reporting to the Manager, Compensation, this role is a unique opportunity to shape foundational compensation programs at lululemon. This role is responsible for leading our job architecture program of work and is a key player in supporting to creating efficiencies between this body of work and our job evaluation processes and supporting our compensation partners and the broader P&C teams to enable the future growth of our business.

 

core responsibilities

The main focus of the role is on Job Architecture program evolution – the incumbent in the role will continue to refine our framework to support our business and create a seamless people experience whilst evolving the framework to support business needs. This role will also support future compensation related projects and programs as required to support the evolving needs of our business.

    • Execute the evolution of lululemon's global job architecture strategy, ensuring it is able to be flexible and scale with the changing requirements of our business, supports workforce planning, enables career progression, and provides a strong foundation for compensation, talent, and organizational design decisions.
    • Leading the governance and delivery of our Job Architecture frameworks, as a critical foundation for a wide range of people lifecycle activities. 
    • Partnering with cross functional teams such as Workforce planning, Business Partners, Operational P&C teams, Employment Compliance and Legal and Learning & Leadership in operationalising our job architecture framework and helping them solve their challenges through our framework. 
    • Manage the day-to-day upkeep of our job architecture framework i.e. job architecture queries, internal resource documentation, creation of new job families and job profiles as required.  
    • Upskill and support in education and training materials and delivery with the business/ broader P&C business stakeholders to evolve our job evaluation framework into a fully self-service model whilst ensuring governance and rigour is brought to our Job Architecture practices. 
    • Be part of the evolution and change management of how lululemon can utilize job architecture to further support our broader P&C teams and business.  
    • Be a key player in the evolution of our job evaluation processes, creating efficiencies between the two programs through resource creation, managing job evaluation requests, process mapping and workflow optimisation. 
    • Lead/support future compensation programs and projects as needed. 


qualifications

    • 5–8 years of experience in compensation, ideally in a multinational environment. 
    • Experience in implementing and evolving enterprise-wide frameworks (experience with managing a job architecture framework is highly desirable).
    • Ability to translate complex people and organizational data into actionable insights and recommendations for business leaders. 
    • Exposure to HRIS systems (Workday ideal) back-end with a curiosity on how the back-end data comes together and integrates into other systems e.g. Avature, Dayforce. 
    • Detail-oriented and committed to a high degree of accuracy. 
    • Advanced Excel and highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite.  
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize workload. 
    • Experience in providing consultation to managers, people professionals, employees, and/or business partners. Experience in a consultancy is a plus.  
    • Highly ethical and able to deal with confidential issues with tact, discretion & confidentiality. 
    • Post-secondary degree in a related field. (e.g. HR)

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $88,000–$115,800annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
