about this team

The Inbound Logistics team is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and cost‑effective movement of goods into the business. Working closely with Operations, Finance, and external Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), the team plays a critical role in managing freight spend, maintaining strong partner relationships, enabling reliable financial reporting and ensuring payment accuracy across inbound logistics operations.

 

core responsibilities

The Inbound Logistics Specialist is a vital role responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and resolving invoicing exceptions to ensure accurate and timely payment to Logistics Service Providers. This role works cross‑functionally with Spend Management, Operations, Finance, and external partners, while supporting strategic improvements in freight audit and pay processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all Inbound Logistics invoices are accurately audited and paid on time
  • Review, analyze, and resolve invoicing discrepancies and disputes independently
  • Communicate directly with Logistics Service Providers to resolve invoicing and payment issues in compliance with agreed payment terms
  • Deliver accurate and timely invoicing data, metrics, and KPIs to Inbound Logistics leadership and Spend Management
  • Support freight contract management, rate validation, and ongoing cost accuracy
  • Partner with Finance teams to ensure proper cost representation and timely payments
  • Support and maintain the operational relationship with the Freight Audit & Pay vendor
  • Lead the onboarding process for new Logistics Service Providers and act as the primary point of contact for all IBL invoicing and payment‑related inquiries

 

 

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a similar discipline
  • 2–5 years of experience with Freight Audit & Pay processes and tools; logistics experience is an asset
  • Strong experience handling large data sets; advanced Excel skills are required
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data analytics tools is a plus
  • Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines and deliver high‑quality, accurate work
  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
  • Ability to work independently as a self‑starter while managing multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • High level of integrity and professionalism; ability to build trust across diverse stakeholder groups

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $76000 - $82000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and subject to program eligibility requirements.
