about this team

The insurance team at lululemon is responsible for managing the corporate insurance program, broker relationships, annual renewals, claims handling, insurance compliance, and proofs of insurance. The team also responds to a wide range of internal requests for additional insurance coverage related to productions, special events, and pop-up activations. Supporting cross-functional teams on a global scale, the Insurance team plays a critical role in protecting the business and supporting key strategic initiatives.

 

core responsibilities

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Analyst to support the insurance team at lululemon, with a focus on compliance. This role involves assisting with daily insurance tasks, overseeing all certificates of insurance (COIs), renewal support, contract compliance, and payment of insurance premiums and supporting business units cross functionally with insurance related matters. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for insurance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business units with insurance inquiries relating to events, production, and in-store activations 
  • Communicate directly with landlords and property managers to ensure all COIs are up to date and in compliance with all agreements
  • Timely payment requests for all insurance premiums globally, includes international payments 
  • Monitor incident reports and CCTV footage relating to claims or potential claims.
  • Involvement in our annual insurance renewal processes across a variety of different insurance policies
  • This role supports the corporate globally
     

qualifications

  • Experience working in the insurance industry will benefit the candidate
  • Completion of CRM, CIP or other related designation or education considered an asset 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $66,000 - $86,600 CADannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
