About this team:

Under the Raw Material umbrella, the Jr. Developer is the connector between the colourization team and the cross functional product teams for seasonal Colour, Print & Garment Dye developments. You will work on colour approval at fabric level, communication to the supply chain,
 and establish alignment across the product teams for your product catagory. You will support the Developers and Team Lead to deliver the seasonal readiness and good colour execution.


 A day in the life:

  • To support the commercialization and development of the In season Lab dips and Prints. 
  • Ensuring the dips meet the determined technical quality standards and to deliver the highest level of aesthetic and performance attributes.
  • Reviewing colour and colourfast quality to meet design, Merchandising and the business vision.
  • To work closely with the RM Vendors and the Subcons, on a seasonal basis through daily up dates and conference calls and when needed. 
  • To manage the lab dip process end to end with support from developers & team lead, creating consistency with colour developments across substrates.
  • To develop seasonal artworks for print, checking layout, colour and colourfastness testing ensuring they are hitting the Lululemon quality standards.
  • To create efficiency through the development process , properly organizing the in season developments keeping track of all comments in Flex PLM daily in a timely manner.
  • To check the Print Master Standard submission to be sure that they are matching the approved strike offs for bulk reference.
  • To support the in season team providing visibility and status updates to Team leaders when required.


 Qualifications: 


 

  • University/College Degree required in textiles science and textiles. 
  • 3+ years of apparel or textile industry experience and a working knowledge of the industry.
  • Knowledge of development techniques,(process/equipment etc.) for fabrics and the fabric development process and timelines.
  • Technical knowledge gained in manufacturing environment covering all areas of textiles from fibres, yarn, material construction, finishes and printing.
  • Knowledge of industry testing standards/test reports.
  • Superior rating off Munsell 100 colour test
  • Knowledge of fabrics, and print development process and timelines
  • You enjoy a fast pace environment
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and objectively

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this positionis from$66,000- $86,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
