about this team

The Global Packaging and Labelling team is responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, and producing end-to-end packaging and labels. We work in close partnership with cross-functional teams across the business and partners throughout supply chain. We meet the needs of our product, guests, markets and channels in order to achieve our strategic priorities and business goals. We ensure packaging and labelling materials are production ready and support successful product delivery.

 

core responsibilities

  • Create production artwork (Adobe InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Collaborate with Packaging Design and Packaging Development teams in the end-to-end creation of packaging items (Concepting, Prototyping, Bulk Production, etc…)
  • Participate in team resource planning on a regular basis
  • Support Manager+ and teammates on future project planning 
  • Propose and action process and/or technical improvements in order to increase time efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration
  • Support external partners such as creative agencies and production vendors with defining specifications and capabilities as well as file building methodology to ensure optimal cost and process alignment and producibility at scale.
  • Support internal partners with SME knowledge as needed for company driven initiatives (consultation, planning, problem-solving, and/or future-state visioning)
  • Champion a collaborative working model centred on a common goal of creating best-in-class packaging

 

qualifications

  • Min 5 years experience in Production Design and/or Print Production
  • Experience leading production work from project start-to-finish 
  • Experience working in a collaborative team setting
  • Experience developing a breadth of print mediums (packaging, print ads, labels, signage, etc…)
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills 
  • Expert level technical expertise w/ Adobe suite incl. Photoshop
  • Experience coordinating with production vendors
  • Experience creating physical mock-ups to support creative development, presentation, and overall finalization.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $88,200-115,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
