about this team

Under the Raw Material Print umbrella, the Developer is the connector between the colourization team and the cross functional product teams for seasonal Colour, Print & Garment Dye developments. You own the communication, updates and alignment across the product team and the LLO.

 

a day in the life 

  • To support the commercialization and development of the In season Lab dips and Prints. Ensuring the dips meet the determined technical quality standards and to deliver the highest level of aesthetic and performance attributes
  • Reviewing colour and colourfast quality to meet design, Merchandising and the business vision.
  • To work closely with the RM Vendors and the Subcons, on a seasonal basis through daily up dates and conference calls and when needed
  • To manage the lab dip process end to end with support from developers & team lead, creating consistency with colour developments across substrates.
  • To develop seasonal artworks for print, checking layout, colour and colourfastness testing ensuring they are hitting the Lululemon quality standards.
  • To be the key representative for the print team in cross functional weekly/monthly meetings to create visibility and solutions to requests
  • Work with the LLO team to discover any print constraints or opportunities to improve print process and vendor capabilities
  • Work with cross functional divisions, leaders, and individual contributors, to manage risk and drive cross functional alignment
  • Facilitate the workflow from the inception of a season through to the release of the seasonal readiness
  • Have the ability to explain complex and difficult colour and print issues to cross functional departments to drive appropriate decisions

 

qualifications

  • 5+ of experience in textile and prints
  • University degree / College Diploma required, preferably in textiles.
  • Strong technical knowledge and development techniques for dying and printing
  • Experience traveling and working with suppliers outside of North America
  • Strong technical knowledge of performance product materials process and visual aesthetics
  • You have the ability to act objectively and uncover facts
  • You understand the complexities of textile print development in order to deliver product
  • You are a clear, concise and confident communicator that lives to support the business
  • You thrive in dynamic fast paced environments, and can excel in organization

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $96,800 - $127,100 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration and/or office-based work is necessary or important for the role. Work is mainly performed onsite, 4-5 days per week depending on role requirements.
