about this team

The Compensation Operations Team supports a wide array of global compensation processes. We focus on the details and ensure that our systems are optimized to support our teams. We partner and collaborate with a variety of teams across the organization to drive continuous improvement and efficiency in our compensation processes with a focus on accuracy and transparency.

 

core responsibilities

  • Supports various cyclical (monthly/quarterly/annual) retail bonus calculations, ensuring a high level of accuracy while maintaining strict data integrity and confidentiality
  • Acts as the Compensation Operations SME on all retail incentive plan changes with a focus on the impact to and capabilities of our incentive compensation system
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend changes and enhancements to our incentive compensation systems with a focus on improving accuracy, transparency & efficiency
  • Supports our Global Compensation partners and ensures that our processes and systems are globally consistent and locally relevant
  • Provide regular reporting to Compensation leadership regarding YTD retail performance across North America and Global markets
  • Support lululemon’s annual performance management and compensation cycles through data analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, and the development of communications
  • Dive into market data to ensure that our compensation planning, compensation frameworks and strategy are aligned to our goals and company strategies
  • Work with Business Partners and leaders to job level roles in the organization
  • Perform regular data audits to ensure accuracy and meet compliance requirements
  • Proactively brings market intelligence to the decisions we make to ensure our compensation programs are relevant in line with our Values and Beliefs.
  • Prepares and presents costing analysis, modeling, and summary reports of compensation analysis information.
  • Opportunities to support and lead compensation projects that come up throughout the organization.

 

qualifications

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in compensation, ideally in a multinational environment
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field (e.g., finance, HR)
  • Exposure to HRIS back-end with a curiosity on how the back-end data comes together
  • Experience with Workday, Microsoft Excel and other Office software
  • Detail-oriented and committed to a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize workload
  • High level of discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information

compensation and benefits package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $88,200-$115,800annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
