This role is part of the enterprise-wide sustainability team shaping the future of impact within our brand and business. This work doesn’t just live in one function; social and environmental impact at lululemon is integrated in everything we do. The result? lululemon is an innovative, purpose-driven brand creating a future that we want to live in.  As a Senior Program Manager, Circularity you will be part of the Sustainable Product and Packaging team, leading our enterprise circularity work that spans circular design, circular guest models, and end-of-use solutions.

 

core responsibilities

  • Developing and driving the Circularity Strategy with cross-functional teams to help us make progress toward our public goal of “100% of product made with preferred materials and end of use solutions by 2030.”
  • Partnering with Industry players to create the conditions (economic, technology and/or policy) to drive towards a circular ecosystem. 
  • Tracking and reporting on our circularity progress to support our ESG disclosures. 
  • Working with cross-functional partners to understand regulation that will influence our circularity strategy and initiatives to remain in compliance with future market requirements. 
  • Collaborating on dynamic projects to develop a circular value chain. This could include working with factories to ensure post-industrial waste is recycled, creating feedback loops from our repair partners to our circular design team to running pilots with post-consumer waste collector and sorter. 
  • Supporting internal stakeholders that are driving circular models such as repair and resale programs globally. 
  • Keeping an ear to the ground to understand the latest and greatest when it comes to guest expectations, policy developments, new technologies and industry partnerships opportunities.
  • Overseeing internal policies are developed and enforced to align to the waste hierarchy – making sure good products are resold/repaired/donated and unusable products are recycled. 


qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience working in a combination of sustainability and product.
  • 2+ years’ experience working in Circularity. 
  • Degree in Sustainability and/or Business.
  • Clear communicator who can break complex topics into easy-to-understand and actionable pieces of information across all levels of the business. 
  • Experience building relationships across all levels of an organization, as well as external partnerships
  • Strong project management and organization skills, ability to prioritize time and tasks, and solve problems.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$130,800 - $171,700annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
