Global Partner Events & Experiences Lead 

 

About the Role 

As a Global Partner Events & Experiences Lead you will play a critical role within the Global Events & Experiences team. In this role you will support a portfolio of events that power our business objectives bringing our brand and culture to life for our internal & partner collective. Additionally, you will support the planning and execution of various events and brand experiences. Your work will be instrumental in building a globally coordinated approach to how we create experiences that provide relevance to our guests and employees and distinction for our brand. You will achieve this by fostering cross functional relationships while operating with a global mindset. Based on project specifics, you will also support the full event life cycle from concept to execution and the guest experience from start to finish ensuring that each guest touch point appropriately expresses the lululemon brand.

 

What you’ll do 

  • Portfolio Strategy - Support the project strategy, approach, resource planning and roadmap for a portfolio of global events that support the long-term growth and evolution of the global event strategy.
  • Cross-functional partners (internal/global/external) - Responsible for cross functional collaboration with a team of partners to support bringing events in the partner portfolio to life around the globe.
  • Team Trainings - Responsible for the development of event training plans for the extended team, including staff, contractors, volunteers, vendors and suppliers and accountable to leading the briefing and training of this team on-site
  • Event Logistics - Supports event brief development, and responsible for project management, creating operational plans, ongoing project communication, budget management and operational planning and execution.
  • Vendor Management – Responsible for vendor selection for owned bodies of work using both lululemon preferred vendors and sourcing new relationships. You will also participate and sometimes own relationship management of those vendors.
  • Guest Journey (innovation) – Support creating, innovating and carving out a strategic guest journey that ensures the development of relevant, influential and net-new ways to approach event experiences and achieve event objectives.
  • Reporting – Responsible for leading the information gathering of feedback through guest surveys, team and vendor debriefs. Own creation of post-event reporting including analysis of feedback, developing post-event recap decks, KPI reporting and reconciling budget and expenses.
  • Global Consultation - You consult on event experiences across all regions through developing integrated channel plans, sharing learnings and tested best practices.
  • Event Support – Responsible for supporting events put on by the Global Events & Experiences team.

 

What you bring 

  • An undergraduate degree is preferred 5-8 years’ relevant experience in event planning and production, marketing, public relations or relevant field
  • Experience in strategizing and managing large scale capability projects with multiple cross functional partners
  • Experience in data capture, reporting and analytics as well as the implementation of policy and procedures is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Innovative and strategic thinker able to apply entrepreneurialism to each project
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction, seeking coaching and guidance as needed

How you’ll work 

  • Level: Individual Contributor – Lead Level
  • Reports to: Senior Manager, Global Events & Experiences
  • Portfolio: Global Partner Events & Experiences including but not limited to Analyst events , Vendor events, Media events, Ambassador events, lululemon Gives events, and strategic partner events.
  • Location/Travel: Vancouver based. Global team; with occasional travel for key events as needed.

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500-$107,000annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
