The Asset Protection Manager will be critical to the success of the most complex and important business unit at lululemon. The Asset Protection Manager will help designing and leading North America field asset protection initiatives, and Asset Protection Specialist teams, that focus on protecting our people and assets in assigned areas, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, while educating store teams on ways to minimize safety or security related incidents.
key job responsibilities:
leadership & development
- Lead and support Asset Protection Field Specialist team growth with a focus on supporting professional and personal goals, setting clear expectations and owning follow up through PACE
- Innovate, develop, and deliver critical and consistent AP strategies rooted in our culture and core values to execute key priorities and deliverables
- Manage oversight of area level investigative documentation and input into case management systems, support Sr Manager of Investigations with analysis and evaluation of trends
- Enable and support APS team to resolve regional and area incidents of loss, safety, emergency management, crisis response and physical security impact, including business resiliency and continuity plans. Inform Sr Manager Field AP on response and action
- Grow and expand AP reach through self-development, talent identification, and active involvement with the AP Field Specialist team and Well Being Leads
business strategy & operations
- Design and create regional and area level programming and manage related projects to close controllable operational gaps and improve employee experience
- Prioritize, coordinate, and delegate investigations into external and internal theft related concerns; use of applicable exception based reporting
- Work with Sr FAP Mgr to develop annual travel budget; reviewed quarterly
- Coordinate and apply appropriate store travel through analysis of inventory shrink results and other risk factors, as well as, communication with Store business partners
- Evaluate and reinforce standards and strategies that mitigate losses from external, internal and operational errors during in store market visits; prioritize consistency among all AP areas
working with others
- Support the Senior Manager, Field Asset Protection major security risks such as natural disasters or workplace violence as necessary
- Provide guidance to APS team on store, regional and area leadership on security, emergency management, crisis response and other safety related matters, in collaboration with business partners
- Provide context and content for regional and area level trends through connection to Area Director; assist APS team with consistent dissemination to stores
qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years related experience life safety and security experience, including direct experience identifying and leading internal investigations.
- 5+ years of multi-store retail operations management, including multiple retailers or relevant internal experience.
- Formal Interview and Interrogation training, preferred WZ.
- Experience utilizing exception-based reporting tool.
- Outstanding communication skills, including proven ability to influence in all areas of an organization.
