core responsibilities

Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems. Oversee production systems and monitor how delivered products are functioning. Contribute to project engineering design and standards verification. Monitor key metrics and report on trends. Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts. Perform and delegate engineering assignments to ensure production readiness is maintained. Act as a leader in technology space and contribute to all areas of development and operations (pre-production to production). Work with Technology Manager, to guide a team of Engineers though their day-to-day process, and provide a central escalation point for production concerns. Provide mentorship and facilitate engineering training. Partake in Agile production release team and perform on-call support functions. Participate in our Engineering Community of Practice. Act as a main contributor in Agile ceremonies.

 

Telecommuting permitted 100% - may live anywhere in the U.S.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

 

qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Architecture or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in Software Engineering.

 

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in:

  • HTTP, SSL, Headers, Cookies, TCP, and Caching;
  • Technical debt prioritization and roadmap planning with Product Management.

 

Must have 5 years of experience in 1 or more of the following (which may be gained concurrently):

  • CI principles and best practices;
  • CD principles and best practices.

 

Must have 2 years of experience in:

  • Developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses such as manufacturing & logistics, supply chain, or corporate shared services.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $190,486.00 - $210,486.00annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
